1. Agreement to terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Short Rasiya. Additional policies linked from the Service (including our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page) are incorporated by reference.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Short Rasiya. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, or if we have previously suspended or terminated your account for violations.
3. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at our support email if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account. We may reclaim, rename, or disable usernames that are inactive, misleading, infringing, or reserved for brand protection.
We may refuse registration, limit features, or require additional verification when we reasonably believe it is needed for security, legal compliance, or platform integrity.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create and upload ("User Content"), including reels, captions, comments, profile details, and profile links.
By posting User Content, you grant Short Rasiya a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting or technical delivery), display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with operating, improving, securing, and marketing the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights needed to post your User Content and to grant the license above, and that your content does not violate any law or third-party rights.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. Short Rasiya does not endorse User Content and is not responsible for its accuracy, legality, or quality. Content you mark as public may be viewed, shared, or downloaded by others; we cannot control how third parties use content once it is public.
5. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to post, upload, share, or engage in content or behaviour that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others. Without limitation, you must not:

Violations may lead to content removal, feature limits, suspension, or permanent ban:
- Unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or deceptive activity — including scams, phishing, and impersonation.
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, illegal drugs, or hate speech targeting protected characteristics.
- Sexually explicit material, pornography, or any sexual content involving minors (real or depicted).
- Infringement of copyrights, trademarks, publicity, privacy, or other intellectual property rights.
- Spam, misleading engagement tactics, bots, fake accounts, or artificial inflation of likes, follows, or views.
- Scraping, harvesting data, reverse engineering, probing, or interfering with the Service, its security, or other users' accounts.
- Uploading malware, or attempting to bypass technical or access restrictions.
- Misusing reporting, blocking, or support tools (including false or harassing reports).
- Using the Service for commercial advertising or solicitation except where we expressly allow it.
6. Moderation & enforcement
We may (but are not obligated to) review, monitor, remove, restrict, or refuse User Content, and we may limit, suspend, or terminate accounts, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, when we believe it is reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect users, third parties, or the Service.
We do not guarantee that every violation will be detected or acted on. Our decision not to take action in one instance does not waive our right to act later. Enforcement outcomes (including report reviews) are final to the fullest extent permitted by law, except where mandatory consumer rights apply.
You may report content or users through in-app tools. Reporting does not create a duty for us to remove content or to explain our decision in every case.
7. Service features & changes
The Service may include features such as a vertical reel feed, Reel Studio (camera, gallery, trim, filters, and audio), uploads with captions and hashtags, likes, comments, saves, shares, search, follows, notifications, private accounts, trending audio, reporting, and blocking.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any feature, limit usage, or update the Service at any time without liability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific reach, recommendations, monetisation, or any particular level of performance.
The Service is provided free of charge unless we state otherwise. Free access does not create any employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and Short Rasiya.
8. Advertisements & third parties
The app may show advertisements through third-party partners such as Google AdMob. Ad content and targeting are provided by those partners and are subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party ads or websites.
Profile links and other URLs posted by users lead to third-party sites or apps that we do not control. Opening them is at your own risk. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, privacy practices, or any harm arising from leaving the Service.
9. Our intellectual property
Short Rasiya, its name, logo, design, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights needed to use the Service, no license to our intellectual property is granted.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our branding or software without our prior written permission.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at our support email with sufficient detail for us to locate the material and assess your claim. We may remove or disable access to content and take action against repeat infringers where appropriate.
10. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by following the steps on our Data Deletion page.
We may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access (including specific features), remove or disable User Content, and reclaim related resources, if: (a) you breach these Terms or our policies; (b) we are required to do so by law or a competent authority; (c) your conduct creates risk or possible legal exposure for us, users, or third parties; (d) your account has been inactive for a prolonged period; or (e) we discontinue the Service in whole or in part.
Where reasonably practical, we may notify you of significant enforcement actions, but we are not required to give prior notice when doing so would compromise security, an investigation, or legal obligations.
Upon termination or account deletion: your right to use the Service ends immediately; we may delete or anonymise your account data as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page; licenses you granted to us may survive for a reasonable period as needed for backups, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and residual copies that are not reasonably practicable to delete; and we have no obligation to provide copies of your content after deletion except where required by law.
Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, licenses granted by you, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and this termination section) will survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that content (including User Content and ads) will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for you.
You use the Service at your own risk. Download and share content carefully. We are not responsible for loss of data, device damage, or harm arising from third-party links, apps, or services.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Short Rasiya and its owners, operators, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us (if any) to use the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one thousand Indian Rupees (INR 1,000).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such exclusion is prohibited).
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Short Rasiya and its owners, operators, employees, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or (d) your infringement of any third-party right.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived, courts in Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at our support email. We will attempt in good faith to resolve the issue.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies we expressly incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and Short Rasiya regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganisation, or sale of assets.
The Service is operated from India. We make no representation that it is appropriate or available in every location. Users accessing it from other jurisdictions do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
16. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. Where changes are material, we may also provide additional notice (for example in-app or by email) when reasonably practicable.
Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
