Short Rasiya ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Short Rasiya application and related online services. This Privacy Policy applies to users of those services.
We aim to handle information responsibly and to describe our practices clearly. If you do not agree with this policy, you should not use the Service.

- Account information: name, email, username, mobile number, profile photo, bio, profile links, and optional details such as gender or date of birth.
- Content you create: reels, captions, hashtags, comments, likes, saves, shares, follows, and similar activity.
- Communications: messages you send to support (for example reports, feedback, or deletion requests), and related metadata.
- Usage data: interactions with the app or site — such as reels watched, searches, screens viewed, and notification engagement.
- Device and technical data: device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate network information, crash/diagnostic data, and push notification tokens.
- Advertising data: when ads are shown (for example via Google AdMob), advertising partners may collect device identifiers and usage data under their own policies.
- Website data: if you visit our website, we and our providers may collect standard server logs and similar technical information needed to operate and secure the site. Essential cookies may be used for authentication on admin or logged-in areas.
3. How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage your account.
- Provide core features — upload, watch, like, comment, save, share, search, follow, and notify.
- Operate profiles, private accounts, follow requests, and related privacy controls.
- Review reports, enforce our Terms, investigate abuse, and help keep the platform safer.
- Display advertisements and measure basic ad performance with partners.
- Improve reliability, diagnose bugs, analyse aggregated usage trends, and respond to support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and the Service.
4. App permissions
The mobile app may request access to device features only when needed for related functionality. You can deny or later revoke permissions in your device settings, though some features may not work without them:
- Internet / network — to load content, upload media, and sync your account.
- Camera — when you record a reel in Reel Studio.
- Photos and videos / storage — when you pick media from your gallery or update your profile photo.
- Notifications — to send alerts about activity related to your account (if you enable them).
5. User content & safety tools
User Content you post may be visible to other users according to your settings and the nature of the content. Public profiles, reels, comments, and profile links can be seen by others and may be shared outside the app.
We prohibit content and behaviour that violate our Terms (including illegal, harmful, or infringing material). We may review reports and take enforcement actions described in the Terms. We do not guarantee that all prohibited content will be found or removed immediately.
Safety tools in the app
Tools that can help you manage your experience include:
- Block — limit a user's ability to interact with you.
- Report — flag reels, profiles, or problems for review.
- Private account — limit who can follow you and see your content.
7. Third-party services & links
The Service may contain ads, SDKs, or links (including user-posted profile links) that lead to third-party websites, apps, or services. Those third parties have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or policies. Review their notices before providing them with information.
8. Data retention
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, enforce our Terms, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise associated personal data within a reasonable period (and as described on our Data Deletion page), except where we must retain limited information for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited time until those backups are rotated.
9. Your rights & account deletion
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of certain personal data associated with your account. You can update many profile details directly in the app.
You can delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by following the steps on our Data Deletion page (including email requests when you cannot access the app). Deletion is subject to verification and the retention exceptions described above.

10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your account credentials and for activity on your account when those credentials are used.
11. Children's privacy
Short Rasiya is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it where required.
If you are a parent or guardian of a user under 18, you are responsible for supervising their use of the Service.
12. India & international users
Short Rasiya is operated from India. If you access the Service from outside India, your information may be processed in India or in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your own.
By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations as described in this policy, subject to applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice when reasonably practicable.
Continued use of the Service after an update becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised policy. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
